BELOTERO is manufactured using a unique patented CPM® (Cohesive Polydensified Matrix) technology. This technology has been specifically developed to create a collection of hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers that allow for seamless integration of the HA gel into facial tissues to restore volume loss, giving a more natural, smoother-looking result.
-
BELOTERO fillers can last anywhere up to 12-18 months depending on the area treated and the product used.

You may experience mild pain or discomfort at the injection site. To minimise this, with the exception of BELOTERO Revive, the BELOTERO Collection of fillers contain an anaesthetic which helps to reduce discomfort during injection and after the procedure. If you have concerns this is something you can discuss with your clinician during consultation.

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a natural substance found throughout the body. In the skin, its function is to retain moisture, helping to keep the skin hydrated, giving a plumper and more youthful appearance. As we age, our body naturally slows down producing HA, leading to a loss of moisture, contributing to the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
-
Glycerol is a naturally occurring substance within the body. It draws in water and retains it, helping to strengthen the HA structure and increasing its effectiveness within the skin.
-
During your consultation, your practitioner will discuss your medical history in detail to assess your suitability for your desired treatment.
-
Specific aftercare instructions will be given by your practitioner but to get the best results from your treatment and to avoid any potential side effects, there are a few things that you can do:
- Try to avoid wearing make up for 12 hours after treatment.
- Avoid drinking alcohol for 24 hours before and after treatment.
- Avoid heat including activities for 2 weeks.
- Avoid facials, peels, facial waxing, skin needling or energy-based treatments for 2 weeks after treatment. Please check with your practitioner before undergoing any facial treatments within this time.
-
It is important to choose a qualified practitioner (doctor, dentist, nurse, prescribing pharmacist) who is experienced in administering dermal filler injections.
